Peggy Dobreer is trying to make sense
of parenting a teenager, writing poetry, and education in America...to
say nothing about the state of the globe. Peggy co-authored 64 Ways to Practice Nonviolence, A
Curriculum and Resource Guide. Her work appears in the Spring
2004 and Winter
2004 issues of the poetry ezine, The Blue House, as well as in the environmental poetry
anthology, Cracked
Pavement and Plastic Trees: Our Gifts To Future Generations. She is looking for a publisher for her
next poetry anthology and has just a few numbered copies left of her
first self-published anthology entitled, Face of Sky.
Peggy hosts the biweekly poetry reading, "A Horse of Another Color,"
which takes place every other Thursday at the Velocity Cafe in Santa Monica,
California.
