Rain—
Cold tears
Dripping,
Clinging,
Sparkling.

Thunder echoes in spiral caves.
Lightning burns crooked letters in the marble clouds.

Night—
A cool blanket
Pierced with tiny, firey embers.
Gentle fingers weave the delicate thread of moonlight.

Grass—
Shimmers in the wind
Like ripples on a pool of glass.

Waves—
White horses
     manes flying
Crash up on the shore
Charge up the wet sand
           then retreat
     rolling gently.
